Self Summary-I'm not sure where to go with this, so I suppose I will say that I am pretty unexpected and unpredictable. I have not felt the need to always be one way in life, I have many views in life that people would say they contradict themselves so perhaps I am a walking contradiction...I am very into art(music, painting,WRITING, photography , graphic art , sketches etc.) I view self education and continuing your personal knowledge is priceless. For instance-I would skip school to go to the library and educate myself. You can asssume that I am not a fan of most American schools. I have no shame in admitting that I am rather dorky and enjoy staying up for hours with an intelligent person conversing. I am rather charming and laugh easily. I think laughter is the best sound in the world and the more I can hear it, the better. Umm...I will be working a shitty job that I could care less about until I am done with college... there are many more very imp things to me but right time right place :)

Hi! I'm Megan, I'm 22, and I'm currently attending Ivy Tech for surg tech. I'm sort of hard to explain because I'm really open to a lot of different things. Overall, I'm just content with life. I'm usually happy no matter what is going on. I love the outdoors. You could probably consider me more of a tomboy, I love watching football and baseball, but I definitely have my girly side. I enjoy music, and always have. I've played the piano and guitar for several years, and honestly, I'm pretty good at both. Very recently, I've been getting extremely physically active, with running, exercise, and a radical change in diet. Because of this, my pictures are no longer really accurate, as I've lost about 35 lbs off of these pictures, and plan to lose about 70 more, just for disclosure's sake.

I am rather bored and idle hands are the devils playthings Ive been told. I enjoy playing boardgames with random people yet there are no seedy cafes at/near Purdue that allow such at 2 am or so. They say Im less friendly here, ambitious, and less planning as well. That is bull. I am an extremely friendly person if you take the time to talk to me, do not judge simply on appearance. As for the ambitious, have most of you ever had the ambition to develop and institute your own self-defense programs based around physically disabled communities!? Just because I am not currently seeking a PhD doesnt mean I am not ambitious. As for the planing, well, that depends on how much time you feel it takes to plan something. I do things and think things through rather quickly, and as a result, I can plan a week long trip in less than a day. Hurray multiple trains of thought and impulse. It did actually hurt me a little to read that I had been judged that way.

Born in California but have lived in the Midwest since I was 8. Played baseball through high school but decided to try broadcasting in college. Got a job as a Minor League Baseball broadcaster but nobody told me in school you don't make any money doing that so I have since moved on to other things. I took up playing the drums and basically taught myself to rock out. I love music but love movies more and have a rather sizable DVD collection. I love to travel but it never seems I get to do it enough. I'm from Texas, I'm just in Indiana for school at Purdue. I've been called athletic and always been pretty good at sports. I love to fix/build things. I'm a personality type INTJ. Most of my time is spent working in my office and my lab, but I like sports for recreation. Also, I love documentary movies. I think i'm too lazy to read books, so I make it up by watching documentaries. About my reading habits, I haven't had the chance to read any fiction for years now, mostly because there's no time for it and its not on the top of my priorities.
I have very diverse taste in music, which ranges from classic rock, to pop, to hip-hop and R&B. Basically if it makes me tap my feet, I like it!

I'm about as laidback as a person gets. You can't think clearly if you let life get to you. I enjoy working outside when I can. I love spending time with my pets. I consider myself to be intellegent, but rarely use it cause it seems to serious. I'm a logical, loyal, goof. I believe in science and the power of the human mind. I like to keep fit. I love gymnastics and martial arts as a workout. I absolutley need humor in my life. I enjoy dirty jokes most of all. I'm very open-minded and not easily offended. I think the biggest part of any relationship, from business to romantic, is trust.

I'm a transplant to West Lafayette, Indiana from WV. I moved out here about a year ago after graduating college and took a job as a computer programmer at Purdue University. I'm loving it here, both the job and the town. I'd like to start working on a graduate degree of some kind, but I've not gotten very far on that yet.

I love spending time with friends, doing really just about anything. I love Swing Dancing, I do that for often several hours a week. I am a Grad Student at Purdue and I am working as a Research Assistant for funding. I love getting out and doing sports like racquetball or soccer, or staying in for hot chocolate and movies.

I also like the History CH., HGTV, Travel CH., & reruns of "the Andy Griffith Show" or "Sanford & Son". Lately, I have been trying to find a job since I got laid-off just before X-mas. It may be months before I get called back because of the struggling economy. Sometimes I play NTN TRIVIA at BW-3s but, not as often as I use to. I don't like being unemployed. I'm an aerospace engineering graduate student in Purdue. I'm a pretty big bookworm, but I maintain an active life outside academia through friends, photography, volunteering, biking, music, etc. I'm always looking to meet new people and hear their life story.

Well, I go to Purdue, been here for a while now. Double majoring and also have a minor. Still have one more year after this. I always have a lot of fun here but I'm ready to move on and get started with whatever comes next. Ummm I like to fly (oh, I do have my license by the way, ha), hang out with friends, work on Harley's or anything with a motor in it, and I'm pretty much open to anything else.

Hello everyone. So I stumbled upon this website and figured it would be a great place to meet new people. I am a college student at Purdue University, a sophomore studying Civil Engineering.

I am a humanist (or atheist, doesn't really matter what you call it). I'm very lighthearted about religion though, I'm absolutely fine with keeping an open mind, especially towards Buddhists and religions that are more about philosophy and self-improvement towards making a better world for us to live in.

My greatest passions would have to be what I picked for a career. Since I was a small kid I loved playing with lego blocks, and now I hope to do something greater with this love as a child and build the bridges, roads, and skyscrapers of the world. I also greatly enjoy reading and keeping up with the world news, and enjoy cultural studies.

As for music tastes, my music tastes are pretty open, it's more of a band to band basis. I enjoy discovering new bands from local areas, and especially from other countries. Even if I don't understand the language music is the "international" language that we all share.

I wear the fact that I was an Eagle Scout after putting so many years of hardwork and dedication to achieving this goal, and still appreciate the outdoors and camping I enjoy playing volleyball, one of my favorite sports. I'm an avid football (Colts and my old high school team) and soccer fan, as well as enjoy a game of basketball at the rec center here at Purdue.

I'm 21, and a student in engineering, but I don't think that says a lot about me. I like writing things consisely, and I've deleted what I've written here about 10 times because I can't figure out how to say what I want without writing a book.

Personality wise, I'm pretty sarcastic and easygoing. I don't stress about much at all. I like to learn, but I do it for myself, because it satisfies my curiosity. I like finding new things and sharing them with people. I may be a bit quirky, because I like to do things my way, which is usually different.

I love sports, specifically baseball, basketball and football. If you have a hard time with sports we probably wouldn't get a long. I also love to watch movies. It's my comfort zone for whenever I want to get away. I'm very outgoing as well. I can get along with almost anyone. If someone talks to me I will talk to them. That's me. I am pretty good at making anything fun whether I want to do it or not. I've been labeled as the "take home to your parents" kind of guy, but also have can have an evil side to me (Haha). I believe that you treat people how you would like to be treated and they should give you the same respect back.

I'm sure you've heard everything above a million times from all sorts of different profiles, so what makes me stand out from the rest? I've been told that I wear my heart on my shoulder. I tell people what I am thinking and how I am feeling at the time that it is going on. I think this is the most important quality I have because you know everything coming out of my mouth is honest. I believe that this helps build trust in a relationship right from the beginning. I haven't seen too many people with this quality.

The person I am looking for has to be smart, funny, and know how to take a joke. I would prefer them to have a bachelor's Degree and be successful in life. They have to be a sports fan, preferably a Cubs fan and not a bandwagon fan. They have to like watching movies and have good taste in movies. They should know how to go out and have fun, be able to hang out at the bar with a bunch of my friends and enjoy a great game. They have to be a dog lover and either have or want a dog. I would prefer someone that is outgoing and loves to hang out with my friends, but also has friends of their own and their own life. Most importantly this person would have to be honest and caring.

I'm a 27 year old soon to be engineer. I spent four years in the air force then went to back to school to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. I'm easy going and have a good sense of humor. I have a wide variety of interests including history, science, technology, culture, politics, language, the arts, etc. My favorite thing to do is travel to new places. I've been to about a dozen countries on three continents and look forward to exploring the world more.

how to describe one-self? im a sophomore at purdue. i must be a masochist cus im majoring in chemical engineering. i love driving and playing lacrosse. im terrible at spelling. what else do you want to know? if you get to know me i wont need a summary anymore.

I guess the best way to describe who I am is to describe what I do. I am a professor at Purdue. I love my research but I need to have a balance, so I make it a priority to not bring my work home with me and to not work late hours. This balance allows me to play sports and hang out with friends. My current sports include squash, tennis, soccer, and ultimate frisbee. I also like water sports (wake-boarding, kite-surfing, kayaking). I have also started driving to Indy 1-2 times a week to go rock climbing. I don't like a lot of alone time, so I spend most evenings with my friends either cooking dinner at one of our houses or going out for dinner and drinks. I love playing board games, so we frequently have a games night.

I'm a difficult person to get to know but if you take the time, it will be well worth the effort. I have come a long way and I think I know my capacities very well as a result. I like to stay at home. Alone time is crucial to my existence and most are perplexed by my preference towards lone wolfishness. I put a lot of pressure on myself to be perfect; and even though this process is doomed for failure, I truly believe it never hurts to try. There are a lot of things I'm afraid of and it's always a little scary to set foot out the door (especially in this town, lol.) I don't let too many people in but if I do,.... I'll be a reliable friend for life.

I'm a very driven, ambitious individiual. Patient, caring, god-fearing, loving, motherly, crazy, rambunctious, spontaneous, hella' smart, funny, talented musically and creatively, sarcastic, hurt, and jaded, all rolled into one fun-loving little package. I'm addictive and unforgettable. I heart all of God's fury little creatures (minus spiders... eek!!)... humans included. God save the humans! I'm a pretty good judge of character... I have a pretty well-crafted "douche-bag" alarm. I'm a great listener, unless I'm insanely busy and distracted. I give some amazing advice as well, but never tend to take it myself... but then again, who ever does? Most people love me or hate me. I stand my ground. I'm a strong individual. I've been dealt some of the worst blows that life can deal, I've been through just about everything... but I've come out even better and stronger than before, and for that I am truly thankful.
